Creamy Harissa Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 carrots, diced

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • 2 cups bone broth, added slowly

  • 1.5 pounds chicken, cut into bite sized pieces

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1/4 cup tahini

  • 3 Tbsp Harissa

  • 4 cups cooked rotini or other pasta

Directions

  • Sauté carrots, onion, and bell pepper in olive oil, season with 1 tsp. salt

  • Add bone broth a little at a time until veggies are soft

  • Add chicken, season with remaining salt and cook for 4 minutes

  • Add remaining bone broth, garlic, tahini, and harissa and simmer on medium for 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through

  • Stir in cooked pasta

*Harissa can be spicy so if you don’t want it too spicy, start with 1 Tbsp and add to taste before adding pasta.
